Please read this note from Sisky about the Butcher situation. Help out if you can!
A note from Adam T. Siska:
On Wed July 25th at aprox 1 am our good friend Andrew Bishop Mrotek aka “The Butcher”, who many of you know for his creative work as the drummer of The Academy Is… & for his talent in visual arts, was attacked and mugged in Milwaukee while walking home from work. Not only was his money taken but he was blindsided by 2 or 3 thugs with a flower pot which broke his cheek in 3 places and his jaw in 2 places. Once he fell to the ground they kicked him in the face until he was unconscious. He ended up with both his eye sockets fractured, 25 stitches across his face, 30 stitches on his gum line, 20 stiches on his eyelids, 3 titanium plates screwed into his skull and has been in and out of the ER for surgery and countless doctors checkups for nose bleeding and intense ear/sinus/facial pain. Like many Americans, Andy is without Health Insurance coverage. Each day as he is making strides to physically and emotionally recover from this experience, his hospital bills continue to grow and grow.
The members and former members of The Academy Is…, Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes, Fall Out Boy & Panic! At the Disco built a very strong bond over our years of making music and touring the world together. We all want to see to it that The Butcher is able to continue making music and art that inspires us— instead of spending his days trying to pay off a never ending debt due to this tragic event. The 5 of us have put our collective efforts together to bring you this shirt.
100% of the proceeds will go to Andy and his bills which will hopefully make a dent in his bills. Our good friends at FBR have donated the shirts and printing and our buddies Johnny, Tony and Eric from Snakes & Suits came up with the design.
If you want to donate more money (maybe you have a rich uncle who is living in a gold mansion) or if you aren’t into getting a shirt you can donate directly to Andy, even if It is a dollar (anything will help him pay his bills and live while he recovers) you can do it by Paypal to: butcherprints@gmail.com
We love you all,
Adam T. Siska

Oh sweet world, please don’t say things like that, Brendon Boyd! It puts your weird fan base in utter fanlike chaos. Not good. Not good at all.

I think I’m just going to stop living now.
Thanks Fueled By Ramen.
I think your talent just died.
</3
excuse me while I go have my day destroyed.
nothing lasts forever…
BUT WHY DOES IT HAVE TO END?!
Beware when bands are taking FOREVER to make a new album, it means a breakup is around the bend.
ALWAYS.

A Guide To Planning A Very Happy Birthday for A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out
“A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out” was the album that rocketed Panic! At The Disco to the top of the charts, throwing them into the music spotlight and garnering them a Video Music Award of the Year for “I Write Sins Not Tragedies.” That’s why we want to make tomorrow, the 6th Anniversary of the release date of Panic’s freshman album, a very special day.
How do we plan on doing that? With your help, we hope to get “Happy Birthday Fever” trending worldwide. If this task is accomplished, we’ll give away to one teamer “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out” on vinyl, as well as the official “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out” poster signed by Ryan and Brendon.
We are serious about getting the topic trending, so read our guide on how to NOT trend a topic worldwide to understand why we have set guidelines. The guide can be found here: http://ndstreetteam.tumblr.com/post/10712306092/how-not-to-trend-a-topic-worldwide. It’s important that you follow them or else you will just be wasting finger energy. As for HOW to trend the topic, we’ve included guidelines for you below.
How to trend “Happy Birthday Fever”:
- Use the hashtag #Happy Birthday Fever only (1) one time. Twitter only counts the topic with the # symbol once towards topic trends. For example, using your 140 characters to tweet #HappyBirthdayFever #HappyBirthdayFever #HappyBirthdayFever repeatedly will do none of us any good.
- Tweet the phrase “Happy Birthday Fever” as much as you want (in a logical tweet, of course), but DO NOT include the # symbol if you’ve already done it once. If you do include it again, you’ll just be wasting your time. The tweet will not be noticed by twitter.
- Use your tweet power during the hours of 5PM EST and 12AM EST. By selecting a proper time frame, we’ll increase our chances of getting the topic trending.
- Tell as many people as you can about our mission! The larger the group of people involved, the greater the chances of the topic trending. Phrases become trending topics because they are being used by a diverse group of people.
We know how difficult trending a topic worldwide can be, which is why it is very important you follow our guidelines above and spread the word to all of your friends and fellow Panic! At The Disco fans. Let’s get “Happy Birthday Fever” trending and celebrate the album that started it all!
