The hours I spend with you I look upon as sort of a perfumed garden, a dim twilight, and a fountain singing to it. You and you alone make me feel that I am alive. Other men it is said have seen angels, but I have seen thee and thou art enough.

This picture is truly a miracle to behold. This baby shouldn’t ever have been born according to the doctors, but God had a different plan. <3 :)
Jonathan’s (his name) mom wrote this while she was still carrying him during her pregnancy:
“At just under 18 weeks into our pregnancy, Jason and I learned that we were having another little boy. Within 30 minutes of that happy news came the knowledge that something had been detected by ultrasound that required a level 2 ultrasound and visit to the specialist. The next day, our worst fears were realized as we were told that our baby had issues that were “fatal” and “incompatible with life”. Given the options of terminating the pregnancy or carrying a baby that would not live, we felt devastated and hopeless. In the end, we realized that it was not our decision to make and so we chose to leave it in God’s hands. Once we made that decision, we immediately felt the weight lift and we were completely at peace. We named our baby Jonathan, because it means “gift from God” and that’s exactly what Jonathan is.
I am now 31 weeks pregnant and although there are good and bad days, I can say that Jason and I have never once looked back or regretted our decision to continue to carry this little boy. We don’t know what lies ahead, but one thing has become clear: that things are not exactly what they seemed at 18 weeks. Please see our journal entries for more of Jonathan’s story. We know so many of you are praying for us and we cannot thank you enough for that. Keep those prayers coming!
Love to you all,
Lauren, Jason and Tyler Peetz”

DON’T CLAIM TO SPEAK FOR ALL WOMEN!
We are women who support the competing voice offered by Catholic institutions on matters of sex, marriage and family life. Most of us are Catholic, but some are not. We are Democrats, Republicans and Independents. Many, at some point in our careers, have worked for a Catholic institution. We are proud to have been part of the religious mission of that school, or hospital, or social service organization. We are proud to have been associated not only with the work Catholic institutions perform in the community – particularly for the most vulnerable — but also with the shared sense of purpose found among colleagues who chose their job because, in a religious institution, a job is always also a vocation.
Those currently invoking “women’s health” in an attempt to shout down anyone who disagrees with forcing religious institutions or individuals to violate deeply held beliefs are more than a little mistaken, and more than a little dishonest. Even setting aside their simplistic equation of “costless” birth control with “equality,” note that they have never responded to the large body of scholarly research indicating that many forms of contraception have serious side effects, or that some forms act at some times to destroy embryos, or that government contraceptive programs inevitably change the sex, dating and marriage markets in ways that lead to more empty sex, more non-marital births and more abortions. It is women who suffer disproportionately when these things happen.
No one speaks for all women on these issues. Those who purport to do so are simply attempting to deflect attention from the serious religious liberty issues currently at stake. Each of us, Catholic or not, is proud to stand with the Catholic Church and its rich, life-affirming teachings on sex, marriage and family life. We call on President Obama and our Representatives in Congress to allow religious institutions and individuals to continue to witness to their faiths in all their fullness.

my group at our state’s March for LIfe!

This baby is a preemie, she was born at exactly 24 weeks old. Every year in America alone 30,000 babies are aborted at exactly this age. Still think she’s not human?

yeah that sounds beautiful but it’s just words.
it stops there.
we don’t live by this.
this poetry isn’t put into action.
it’s left at a nice idea.
UNFORTUNATLEY THERE IS NOT “LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL” and we certainly are NOT “under God”.
for instance, if you aren’t born yet, America gives the right to doctors to end your life inside your mother’s womb.
We conceal our Christian faith in public, because it is “offensive”.
Liberty and justice for ALL?! No. Try liberty and justice for SOME.
whenever I have to say the pledge, that’s how I end it.
Because I believe in always telling the truth.
and THAT^ right there is a lie.
I’m not proud of what we stand for unless we start standing under God once again.
I’m a Christian, not American.
I stand for Christ.
Not for a government that pronounces hypocritical lies.
Give this world back to God.
