The name of Jesus sends a rush of joy through my heart.

The name of Jesus conquers fear and slaughters demons.

The name of Jesus saves souls and gives life purpose.

The name of Jesus is my hope and true love.

Blessed be Your name.

Don’t let me fall in love with the empty promises of this world, for I am not of this world. I am Yours and want to plant my heart firmly in Heaven. My love, if placed in Your wounded hands, will not become dust; the mere touch of Your holy Blood gives it new and eternal life. Help me to love everyone I meet half as much as I should. Let me dance with You until You send Mr. Right. Even then, be watching our dance like an older brother.

You don’t break what’s Yours. You won’t let someone else break me, either. Don’t let me follow the path of broken love. I want to follow the path of true love, Your path, because You are love. If I should stray and hurt myself, help my broken heart remember that You’re still waiting. If I should stray, gently remind me that You will accept me back.

The name of Jesus gives me healing.

Jesus, be mine.

I love You.

A family friend of ours Sheryl, was hospitalized last week after Christmas & given two weeks left to live. 

Sheryl, is a beautiful soul who has been bravely & forcefully fighting cancer for more than three years. We met her and her family a couple years ago, and I have never known her to have hair - due to constant chemotherapy. She is a breast cancer survivor, but a few years ago she was diagnosed with cancer yet again. This time it has spread throughout her body, and has gotten into her jaw and her bones. She is not very old, and she’s already beaten many odds and outlived many doctor’s prognosis. 

She and her husband, Doug, married later in life and have two beautiful twins who are truly a miracle. She and her husband our so devoted to each other, and watching them carry on so determined these past few years has been humbling. She is so faith-filled. Mrs. Sheryl has never allowed anyone to see her pain, she is always positive, never complains, and thanks God for everything. Her faith has changed mine.

Sheryl’s children are in second grade, and one event they were all looking forward to was the twin’s first Holy Communion this upcoming spring.

They are only eight, and they deserve a mother with them. 

Sheryl has said she is willing to go whenever God calls her.

Right now she is in terrible pain.

The doctors have now said she has only two days left, because her kidneys are failing.

I know that death is a beautiful thing, because she will be at peace, finally in good health & united with God, but it is so hard for her husband, Doug & the twins. I’ve seen him cry and it breaks my heart. The love they share should never be separated.

Please will you pray for a miracle? Or at least for peace in their family and understanding? 

Sheryl is a hero.

So guys I’m taking the SAT tomorrow for the 3rd time. I desperately need to raise my math score so I can get a scholarship. (without a scholarship I won’t get to go to college) I’ve been working so hard, and doing all I can to improve my score. Everything else is fine, I just have to raise my score on the math portion. I feel like I’ve never worked harder for something, but I’m sitting here tonight so nervous I feel sick. I trust that God is providing, but I could still use the spiritual support!

Could you all PLEASE pray for me? I could use some prayers for peace & knowledge.
