The boy couldn’t race. A quadriplegic, there was no way he could compete in a cycling event, even though it was a longtime dream of his. So his father bought a special bike, and together the two finished the race, the dad sweating as he carried his son over the finish line.
Just like a good dad, Jesus doesn’t take us out of the race because of our inabilities. He works in and through us and carries us over the finish line. Our imperfections become an asset in His hands, a way to reveal His glory and strength.Jesus doesn’t need our perfection or our strength. He just needs our willingness to join our lives with His.
