Sitting here watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Dallas Stars go into overtime.
I love Hockey.
I also love Guns N’ Roses.
So before we went into overtime you can hear “Welcome to the Jungle” playing in the background over the announcers in the arena.
I start singing along.
“…if you got your money, honey, we got your disease…” (totally gross I know, but I totally didn’t catch what that means until I just typed it…)
ANYWAYS
my 13-year-old brother, who is sitting on the couch across from me, stops me and says, “Wait. What are the words?”
I repeat.
“if you got your money, honey, we got your disease.”
My brother: “WHAT?! Really?”
Me: “yes, joe. we got your disease. like bad stuff.”
My brother: “This whole time I thought the words were ‘we’ve got your Justice League’….”
oh to be young and innocent once again.

So If you hadn’t already guessed by the heading of this power I just went to the midight premiere of the new “Green Lantern” movie with a group of my guy friends. :) This is actually my first midnight premiere!
Definitaly surpassed my poor expectations (I like Marvel comics better than DC & besides the prewviews didn’t leave much for the imagination). If you like comics turned into films, you shall like this too! :)
Ryan Renolds did a good job in the character, albeit some of the animation was cheesy. But what would be a superhero movie without some cheese?
SO now basically I’m coveting the green suit and ring. :)
